What is it about?
Being an Au Pair means living with a French family, taking care of their children, and becoming part of their daily life. Your role in the family
As an Au Pair, you’ll be considered a family member, with your own private room and all the comforts of home. You’ll share meals and family moments, and in some cases, the bathroom with the children.

Anywhere in France! From Paris to the French Riviera or the countryside, families from all regions are waiting to welcome you.
What will you do as an Au Pair?
Your main role will be to take care of the children for 25 hours per week. Your daily tasks may include:
- Taking the kids to and from school
- Helping them with their homework
- Playing and having fun with them
- Preparing simple meals
- Keeping their room tidy and their clothes organized
In many French families, the mother takes care of the household, but since you’ll be part of the family, you might be asked to help with small tasks to keep the home clean and organized.

Do you need a visa?
If you require a visa, Au Pair Connexion will provide the necessary documents to complete the process at the French Consulate in your country.
Steps to follow:
You can do this directly with us or through one of our certified agents.
- I fill out the pre-application form
This initial form is the first step to start your process. - I receive validation and access my electronic file
Once the pre-application is validated, use the email and password you provided to access your electronic file.
Note:- Your file must be completed in French (better) o in English
- I complete my registration and pay the file Registration fee*
Once the file is complete, proceed with the payment of the file Registration fee to confirm your registration. - We begin the search for a host family
Our team starts looking for a family that matches your profile and expectations. - We send you the family’s file, and you begin the exchanges
Once a family is found, we send you their file. You can start communicating with them (via email, WhatsApp, video call, etc.). - You confirm your agreement with the family and proceed with the program payment
Once you agree with the family, you proceed with the program payment. - You organize your departure in coordination with the family
Finally, you plan your flight according to the host family’s preferences and availability.
Upon your arrival, you will receive a welcome email with:
- Procedures to follow.
- An activity guide
- Support during your stay.
